Anybody doubting the Hadid effect (and who would?) should have been outside The Gilded Lily on Friday night, where people swarmed, hoping to get in to catch a sighting of mod du moment Bella Hadid. Her sizable fan club was there for Paper Magazine and TiDAL’s party celebrating her cover of the “Outspoken” issue, which shows the mod in blond locks. First she joined friends for dinner at fashion world club, Kola House, and then headed downstairs for a packed to the rafters party at The Gilded Lily with DJ sets by Nicole Sky and DJ Wavy. (Bella also spent a few moments behind the turntables.)

Coming out to toast the 20-year-old were Keke Palmer, Luka Sabbat, Andreja Pejic, RJ King, Levi Dylan, Sarah Snyder, Hari Nef, Nicole Sky, Danielle Bernstein, Mickey Boardman, Drew Elliott, Kim Hastreiter, Ellen von Unwerth, and Nicola Formichetti. At one point she took to the stage in a tummy-baring Wesley Berryman look to be serenaded by her friend singer Justine Skye. It was good to be Bella Hadid on Friday night.
