As a plastic surgeon, how did your clinical experience influence the creation of 111SKIN? How do your products bridge the gap between medical-grade skincare and luxury beauty?
Dr. Yannis Alexandrides: As a plastic surgeon, I’ve seen firsthand the effects of trauma on the skin, both in terms of physical damage and the stress of post-surgical and post-treatment recovery. My patients needed skincare that could maintain their skin’s integrity post-procedure and support healing. The idea behind 111SKIN was to bring this clinical-level care into the daily skincare routine, ensuring that luxury beauty meets medical-grade efficacy. Every product in our line is rooted in the science of skin repair and regeneration, with formulations that deliver clinical results without compromising the sensory experience and elegance expected from luxury skincare.

What was the driving force behind expanding 111SKIN beyond post-surgery skincare into a full-fledged luxury skincare line available globally?
Dr. Yannis: The expansion into a comprehensive luxury skincare line came from recognizing that the principles of healing, repair, and protection that benefitted post-surgical patients could be applied to everyday skincare. We wanted to offer the same level of clinical precision to a global audience, catering to those looking for results-driven skincare that doesn’t compromise on luxury. The demand for products that deliver real, visible results has been universal, and this motivated us to extend our offering beyond recovery skincare to a full spectrum of treatments that cater to a wide range of concerns.

How do you respond to the viral response of the eye patches, sheet masks? And so many it girls wearing them – when did this first start?
Eva Alexandrides:
111SKIN is renowned for owning the mask category, introducing surgically-inspired masking to the global market, and have spearheaded product innovation in this space. Merging scientific knowledge and medically infused ingredients to the product by an industry expert, 111SKIN masks immediately improve skin quality and texture which differentiates our masks from other brands. Since its launch 11 years ago, the Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask has become a fan-favorite amongst make-up artists, celebrities, consumers, and editors. Selling over 18 million units of this hero mask since its launch. A 111SKIN mask is sold every 26 seconds and its popularity inspired the development of our Radiance Collection, now encompassing eight core products.

What are the top three 111SKIN products that you would recommend to someone starting out with the brand, and why are they essential for a complete skincare routine?
Eva:
I would recommend starting with the Repair Serum NAC Y2, which is one of our hero products due to its unparalleled ability to repair and rejuvenate the skin. Finally, our Rose Gold Radiance Booster is perfect for achieving an immediate glow and enhancing skin luminosity. You really have normalized wearing the eye patches out and about like it’s part of an outfit! What’s your response to this?
Eva: As seen on coffee runs, in flights, and fashion week runways, 111SKIN’s consumers, celebrities, and industry friends alike love to wear our masks on the go. I believe this represents the wider celebration of prioritizing self-care and wellness in a busy modern world. Inspired by this trend, we launched 111SKIN’s #MaskOnTheMove campaign, encouraging others to mask in unexpected places.

What inspired the collaboration between 111SKIN and the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, and how does it align with the luxury and wellness ethos of both brands?
Both: This exclusive spa partnership was inspired by a shared commitment to luxury, wellness, and an elevated customer experience. Both 111SKIN and the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection aim to offer more than just a spa service —we wanted to create a spa treatment experience that leaves a lasting impact. For us, it was the perfect alignment of values: providing guests with 111SKIN spa treatments that complement the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s premium offerings.

What unique treatments or exclusive services were offered on the yacht in partnership with 111SKIN, and how do they differ from your usual spa offerings?
Both: We designed exclusive treatments specifically for the yacht’s guests, focusing on rejuvenation and restoration, particularly after a day spent at sea. Our signature facial treatments, such as the Celestial Black Diamond Lifting Facial, were adapted to the unique needs of yacht life, where skin may need more hydration and protection from environmental elements.

What was the inspiration behind developing the newest product launch the Cryo line, and how does it mimic the effects of cryotherapy for the skin?
Eva: Our Cryo range was born out of my personal experience with cryotherapy. It offers a slew of benefits such as rapid muscle recovery, reduces inflammation, and energizes the body, so I wanted to translate these benefits into skincare. Our Cryo products are formulated to mimic this process, delivering a cooling, tightening effect that stimulates microcirculation and boosts skin vitality. It’s an effective way to give the skin a rejuvenating, revitalizing experience similar to an actual cryotherapy session. The skin is left de-puffed, hydrated and sculpted.

Are there any collaborations or partnerships in the pipeline that we should look forward to, particularly in the realm of luxury travel, fashion, or wellness?
Dr. Yannis: We are continuously securing new luxury spa partnerships globally and have more launching soon including Wymara Resort + Villas in Turks and Caicos and Montage Deer Valley. We continue to build our brand universe by forging collaborations with exciting global partners in areas such as luxury fashion, fitness, wellness, lifestyle, beauty and hospitality.
