Atelier Swarovski Enters The Fine Jewelry Realm With Matthew Campbell Laurenza

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) The latest project from Atelier Swarovski is a haute one: The 120-year-old bauble line will be introducing their first fine jewelry collection designed in collaboration with Matthew Campbell Laurenza. The collection, which is titled Jeweled Garden, will be a continuation of the designer’s pair-up with Swarovski in 2012. For that project, Laurenza created a collection of Swarovski crystal-studded sculptures that replicated anatomically correct flowers and insects. This time around, the fauna will be wearable art, with sapphires, amethysts, garnets, and topaz, all set in 18-karat gold. The collection, which includes three necklaces, four bracelets, and eight rings, is currently available for purchase exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman, with prices starting at $8,750. Among Atelier Swarovski’s myriad collabs, they recently joined forces with the likes of Maison Martin Margiela, Christopher Kane, and Juan Carlos Obando to artfully combine fashion and crystals.
