Miami Beach EDITION Closed Out Art Basel
Basement at The Miami Beach EDITION was the place to be on the last night of Art Basel Miami Beach. High Ground hosted the evening at Basement where Diplo and Idris Elba DJ’d. Hundreds of guests and VIPs — including Nick Kroll — showed up to dance the night away to send-off the festival. Meanwhile, at Basement Bowl & Skate, DJs Durante, Heidi Lawden, and Lukewarm each played to their own set while guests danced, bowled, and ice skated till 4AM.

New York’s Fashion Scene Fêtes Jonathan Cohen
Jonathan Cohen celebrated his e-commerce launch and the introduction of The Studio — his eco-friendly capsule collection — with a party in NYC. Guests included Aurora James, Batsheva Hay, and Alejandra Alonso Rojas, among others.

Kehinde Wiley and Swizz Debut the Creative Minds Talk
Kehinde Wiley and Swizz Beatz debuted their dynamic Creative Minds Talks at Art Basel last week. The discussion centered around the state of activism, philanthropy, and how to make it in today’s world as a creative. Swizz drew from his vast knowledge of the entertainment and art worlds, while Kehinde — famed for his historic portrait of President Barack Obama and recent “Rumors of War” sculpture in Times Square — stole the show with empowering words that tied back to his soaring Black Rock Senegal residency program to which ticket proceeds benefitted. The spirited event was hosted in Miami’s arts and culture hub.
The discussion also included Walshy Fire, Barbara Becker, Nasir Dean, Camaryn Swanson, April Hunt, Steve Wilson, Ewa Pollieux, Karen Jenkins Johnson, and Tracy Robertson Carter.
