Ariel Foxman has landed a new gig! The former InStyle editor-in-chief and InStyle and StyleWatch editorial director has been named chief brand officer at Olivela, a philanthropic retail organization that supports charities that benefit children around the world. Foxman had been working with the brand as an advisor since its launch, and in his new official role, which he begins August 21, he’ll oversee the marketing and communications departments, and work with global fashion and beauty leaders and influencers to expand the mission.

“Ariel has been an invaluable advisor since Olivela’s inception and I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome him as our Chief Brand Officer,” said Stacey Boyd, founder and CEO of Olivela, in a statement. “He has true strategic creativity which has inspired women of all ages to shop and is proven by his years as a successful editor in the fashion industry. Ariel brings his unparalleled, long-standing relationships to Olivela and these will certainly help broaden awareness and accelerate our development.”
