Talk about a collaboration! Farfetch and Aquazzura debuted the Very Collection, a collaborative effort between Edgardo Osorio, Holli Rogers of Browns, Claire Distenfeld of Fivestory, Pascaline Smets of Smets, and Princess Deena Al-Juhani Abdulaziz of D’NA, who together designed seven signature shoe styles.
They celebrated last night with an intimate dinner at 214 Lafayette, hosted by Farfetch’s Stephanie Horton, and Aquazzura’s founder Osorio and Ricardo D’Almeida Figueiredo, the fete at 214 Lafayette saw guests including Devon Windsor, Chelsea Leyland, Jessica Joffe, Lauren Remington Platt, Nasiba Adilova, RJ King, Princess Olympia of Greece, Hailey Clauson, Laura de Gunzburg, Nadia Fairfax, Carlos Souza, Indre Rockefeller, Zani Gugelmann and Misha Nonoo. After dinner, many guests carried on to the rooftop where they danced the night away to music by The Misshapes.
“Every collaboration that I do really comes from the heart,” Osorio told The Daily. “It’s almost improvised in a way, because all the girls [who collaborated] are my friends…I asked them, ‘If you were a shoe, what shoe would you be?’ They’re all so different and they bring so much to the table.”
