Today, American Express and Saks Fifth Avenue announced a new benefit exclusively for American Express U.S. consumer platinum card members, called “Shop Saks with Platinum.”
Starting July 1, enrolled U.S. platinum card members will be able to get up to $100 in statement credits annually for purchases made at Saks Fifth Avenue, using their platinum card.
“We’ve seen an incredible response to the new access, experience and services we’ve added to the platinum card over the last year,” said Christopher Cracchiolo, VP of global membership rewards and loyalty benefits at American Express via a statement. “We’re excited to continue the momentum by adding even more value with the ‘Shop Saks with Platinum’ benefit through our partnership with one of our card members’ favorite retailers.”

shopping experience by bridging two powerhouse brands―Saks and American Express―and providing
benefits to improve their overall experience,” said Emily Essner, senior VP of marketing and
digital at Saks Fifth Avenue. “We’re excited to offer this benefit to platinum card members and invite them
to experience Saks.”
Starting July 1, U.S. platinum card members can access enrollment for “Shop Saks with Platinum” by logging onto their American Express account at www.americanexpress.com/platinum. There is no minimum purchase amount needed, although terms and limitations apply.
