Alexa Chung Unveils A Vintage-Inspired Denim Collaboration With AG

by Dena Silver

Pining for a pair of “it” girl certified denim? Alexa Chung has partnered with California-based denim brand AG. The style icon is taking her love for jeans public, with a 20-piece collection, replete with cool skirts, cheeky overalls, vintage-inspired dresses, and super skinny denim with smart details. She even threw in a few casual sweatshirts and t-shirts. Now you can fully emulate Chung’s chic style. “The collection is inherently the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe, which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late Sixties, early Seventies aesthetic,” Chung explained in a statement. Those eras were all the rage on the Spring runways. As if you needed more of an incentive to shop the collection, which hits Stylebop and Avenue 32 on January 15, and everywhere else on January 20, take a look at Chung modeling her own designs.

I’m am so thrilled about this collection! Denim represents such an important part of history. The timing of this collection is perfect. If we remember love and peace and the attitude that we are all one on this planet, we’ll get through these rough times. When I think back to my favorite pairs of denim jeans and my denim skit, dress, coat, etc…(yeah, I lived in denim)I realize how powerful clothes are. Anyway… just wanted you to know that I am happy for the collection and I hope it’s symbolic of more peace and love.
