It’s National Fragrance Day, so we’ve curated a few Daily scentual faves (see what we did there?) in celebration. Testers not included!
SJP Stash
At first glance, this perfume doesn’t look very “Sarah Jessica Parker.” In fact, the strikingly masculine bottle resembles a glass of Scotch more so than a women’s fragrance, a welcomed reprieve from your run-of-the mill capsule. The scent will surprise and delight, with notes of grapefruit, black pepper, sage, patchouli, and vetiver, with an understated woody accent that lingers all day long. It’s a far cry from her first fragrance, Lovely, and we are completely OK with that.

Giorgio Armani Sí
Chic, sultry, and sweet! We’ve had both men and women stop us on the street to find out more about this fragrance. It’s a combination of cassis nectar, modern chypre, and light musky wood. The cassis provides a full-bodied fruity aroma and is enriched with two types of vanillas. A Rose de Mai enhanced with notes of freesia brings forth a subtle hint of patchouli. And a note of blonde amber wood adds a certain warmth. Trust us…it’s simply irresistible.

Carolina Herrera Good Girl
The stiletto-shaped bottle is a fun addition to your home parfumerie, but it’s the sexy scent that we adore. This new fragrance from the House of Herrera (launched January 2017) is a light and dark concoction with musky top notes and a mixture of jasmine, tuberose, sambac, cocoa, and tonka. Like the tagline says, “It’s so good to be bad.”

Maison Louis Marie No.04 Bois de Balincourt
This is one of those scents you’ll likely recognize, but will have trouble placing. It started as a candle and has made its way into body product and perfume form. With top notes of sandalwood and cedarwood, mid-notes of vetiver, nutmeg, and cinnamon, and amber wood as a base note, it’s subtle and seductive. It’s a perfume oil, which means it’s not alcohol-based and has extra staying power, and is a hit with guys and gals alike.

Lancôme La Vie est Belle
You’ve probably seen and sniffed this one in more than a few fashion glossies, and it smells delicious! For the first time, three master French noses have collaborated on a Lancôme fragrance to create La Vie est Belle: Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion, and Anne Flipo. Iris, patchouli, and the sweetness of praline mixed with floral notes of sambac, jasmine, and Tunisian orange blossom blend into an elegant and altogether feminine and flirty scent.
