(NEW YORK) Amazon customers, meet 10 Crosby. Derek Lam‘s diffusion line has found a new home on the internet giant’s website in the form of an e-commerce shop ‘n’ shop at Amazon.com/10Crosby. The brand, which sources 30 percent of its wholesale business via online, will update the merchandise assortment with 10 deliveries per year. Additionally, the new 10 Crosby e-site will house social media content as well as brand editorial, from design director interviews to noteworthy 10 Crosby news. This is the first virtual, one-brand store for Amazon, which hopes to increase its fashion clientele with similar one-brand shop ‘n’ shops in the future.
In addition to the 10 Crosby deal, Amazon is targeting the fashion community with a 40,000 square foot photo studio for Amazon Fashion in Williamsburg, opening later this year. Also on Amazon’s to-do list as of late? Its first television commercial, featuring spring dresses, which hit the airwaves on March 4.
