To sync with the boho vibe of Gigi’s sheer Yanina Couture gown/La Perla bodysuit combination, Maybelline New York’s Patrick Ta enhanced her California-girl glow and applied champagne eyeshadow, but gave a retro twist to the lip (yes, even makeup is referencing the ’90s). “I wanted to keep her looking borderline hippie but still sexy,” he said. To get the matte mocha pout, he lined and filled her lips with Maybelline’s Color Sensational Lip Liner in Toast and swiped on Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid in Nude Thrill.

2. ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY
The model paired a deep side part with voluminous Hollywood-esque waves, thanks to celebrity hairstylist Christian Wood for Moroccanoil. “To complement Rosie’s dress, I kept the hair sexy and undone for a young and modern style with a polished edge,” he said. Wood used a 1 ¼-inch curling iron and Moroccanoil Thickening Lotion, Dry Shampoo (to prevent oil buildup and give extra volume), and Luminous Hair Spray to hold the look. 3. LADY GAGA
The musician/artist/FLA Editor of the Year tapped Sarah Nicole Tanno for Maybelline New York for “a perfect balance of modern, metallic and sexy.” Tanno looked to Gaga’s colorful Saint Laurent gown for color cues, opting for copper liner using Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil, blending it upward for a “sunset” effect. A set of thick false lashes added the requisite touch of drama. For her shimmery mauve lips, Tanno used a trio of colors: Color Sensational Lip Liner in Rose, Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick in Nude Flush, and Color Sensational High Shine Gloss in Mirrored Mauve.

4. JENNIFER LOPEZ
J.Lo’s go-to makeup artist Mary Phillips gave the star serious lash power, perfectly contoured dewey skin, and a deep rose-colored lip, and added a touch of mauve for her smokey eyes.
