Vogue Taps Celia Ellenberg As Beauty Director

Major masthead news: Celia Ellenberg has been named Vogue‘s new beauty director, according to Page SixThe news follows Sarah Brown‘s May announcement that she’d be leaving the title after 15 years to start her own consulting firm, but will still remain on the Vogue masthead as a contributing editor. Ellenberg, who’s been in the biz for over decade, is a regular contributor to sites like Style.com, Vogue.com and Elle.com; she held the role of senior beauty editor at Style.com for five years. The Brooklyn-based writer is also beauty editor-at-large at Porter and contributing beauty editor for WSJ. Magazine. The beauty maven will officially start her new role in early July.
