Today is also World AIDS Day, which calls for awareness to end this deadly disease by the year 2030. Stepping up to help the cause is UNAIDS Global Goodwill Ambassador Victoria Beckham, who has created a T-shirt in honor of the cause. “My personal commitment to raise awareness and resources to end the AIDS epidemic is one that is shared by my brand and we wanted to mark World AIDS Day with an initiative that my customers could also participate in,” she said in a statement. The top, which is hand printed with the red ribbon motif that symbolizes World AIDs Day, is available on the designer’s e-commerce shop and all proceeds from its purchase will be donated to UNAIDS. Plus, seeing as the shirt is priced at $140, this donation to make the world a better place won’t break the bank either.
