Veronica Beard Launches Accessories with New Hat Collection

by Sydney Sadick

Veronica Beard, the brainchild of sisters-in-law Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard, is making its foray into the world of accessories with its debut hat collection for Fall 2016. CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund finalist Gigi Burris was brought on to consult for the line, which features two styles and six color ways: the wide-brim fedora, which will be available in black, navy, and green fur felt, and the short-brim fedora, which comes in midnight and cooper fur felt, as well as light grey salome. “We wanted to work with the best, and Gigi was the natural choice,” said Miele Beard. “Not only are we all part of the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund family, but we also share the same modern perspective on what’s cool, yet still classic and chic.” Each hat, which will retail for $250, will be customizable with knotted rope, grosgrain ribbon, leather braids, feathers, and fabric trim in seasonal Veronica Beard prints. Flair will retail between $25 and $65, and the collection is available for purchase beginning August 23 at the Veronica Beard boutique in New York City and VeronicaBeard.com.

“We are always looking to appeal to the versatility of women today,” said Swanson Beard. “With these hats, we are offering more than just a product, but rather an experience that allows women to customize and wear their hats from one occasion to the next.”
