Floral liberty prints, ruffles, knitwear, plaids…Veronica Beard has all of this seasons essentials at their presentation at The Highline Hotel. Some of the best pieces were the drawstring slits that came in dresses and skirts, which will come in handy for those looking to turn a look from office to evening. Ditto a fabulous fur collared overcoat that could be zipped in half for a peacoat or crop version.
Styling here was also key. A modern woman (including plenty of editors jetting around to various fashion weeks) might have to figure out how to move from 8 degree to 50 or 60 degree weather in a week or just jetting to a different coast. Here Veronica Beard layered turtlenecks under summery looking floral dresses, casual chunky knit sweaters under an black evening pantsuit look, and a plaid shirt worn under a black jumpsuit.
