Tory Burch Fall/Winter 2016

by The Daily Front Row

Tory Burch is off to the races! She’s already galloped her way to the top as one of the most recognizable names in American fashion, one that even those outside of the fashion realm might be able to rattle off in a sentence alongside Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and Ralph Lauren. In a season where streetwear influences were omnipresent, Tory’s equestrian-inspired collection felt like a burst of fresh air (and color!). Diamond patterns and bright hues mimicked the motifs of jockey attire and pants snapped at the ankles like a pair of English riding trousers. Quilted jackets, a cozy fringe cable knit sweater, and incredibly chic riding boots were the kind of thing a well-bred girl’s dreams are made of. When everyone is trying to be artsy and street, Burch sticks to her winning formula like the above mentioned designers before her, and that’s the recipe American fashion empires are built on.
