Tom Ford Expands His Retail Reach

(NEW YORK) Within the next few months, shoppers in the U.S. will be granted two additional Tom Ford stores at which to snatch up his coveted designs. With three current locations in New York, Las Vegas and Beverly Hills, these two new locations will bring the tally of stores up to 95 worldwide. Slated to open their grandiose doors in August of this year, the Chicago flagship will match the luxurious elegance of the wares dappling its marble floors. Other features of the store, which used to house the grand Esquire Theater, includes 15-foot ceilings and ivory ultrasuede-covered VIP rooms for the most loyal of shoppers. The designer of all Ford’s new retail bastions: Bill SofieldFollowing the Midwestern opening, a Dallas boutique will follow, slated for a September 2013 unveiling. Seeing as Ford is an Austin, Texas native, expect the location in his Lone Star homestate to be suitably over-the-top. The 5,000 square foot boutique boasts floors covered in Newport white marble, walls lined with mirrors. and ebony accents. We’re all for more Ford!
