The Rachel Zoe Project Is Officially Over

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) It’s a wrap! After five seasons, The Rachel Zoe Project is officially over after months of rumors that it had not been doing well, according to The Daily Mail. The show launched Rachel Zoe, who had been known as the uber stylist to the celebs, into the spotlight herself when the show took off after it initially aired. However, it seems the show has run its course as this season of the The Rachel Zoe Project, which has been airing on Bravo since 2008, showed ratings that had dropped by 40 percent according to RadarOnline.

After the much-followed drama of her relationships with her former two assistants, Taylor Jacobsen and Brad Goreski, and her subsequent falling out with both, viewers reportedly were less interested and felt that Zoe was surrounding herself with “yes” people. Not to mention, Jacobsen went on to land her own reality show on Oxygen called L.A. Style and Goreski, of course, has his own hit show on Bravo, It’s a Brad Brad World.

Zoe has felt that the increased attention on her personal life was getting to be too much as the show began to focus more on her relationship with husband, Roger Berman and her child, Skylar and less on her styling expertise. She told Capitol File magazine, “Oh, I don’t want my personal life on television.” Of course, when you sign up for reality TV that’s exactly what you are doing, non? Plus, when you’re a workaholic like Zoe your professional life often ends up blending in with your personal life. But don’t “die” for Zoe. She and her husband are already in talks with NBC to create a sitcom based on her life, where she can play a more behind-the-scenes role. Who knows? It could be maje.
