Today, the CFDA released the full list of this year’s Fashion Award nominees and honorees. The annual ceremony, which spotlights American designers on the forefront of categories including womenswear, menswear, and accessories, will be held on June 6 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. This year’s honorees include Norma Kamali (Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award); Donna Karan (The Founder’s Award in honor of Eleanor Lambert); Imran Ahmed of the Business of Fashion (The Media Award in honor of Eugenia Sheppard); Gucci’s Alessandro Michele (The International Award); and David Bowie will posthumously be awarded the Board of Director’s Tribute.
