Sketching With The Whitney And Louis Vuitton
(NEW YORK) Look no further than the Whitney Museum of American Art for a bunch that knows how to artfully turn a gala into an interactive evening. Last night the institution hosted their annual soiree at the spacious Moynihan Station with a little help from their friends at Louis Vuitton to honor artist du jour Ed Ruscha. Kicking off the eve with a bite of apps, dinner and dessert, the first part of the night was topped off with a surprise appearance by David Byrne, who took his performing duties rather seriously.

Prabal Gurung: With his Spring '14 showing, Gurung proved once again that all eyes are on him for good reason. The designer showed his colorful Spring collection at Moynihan Station and turned to Bert Stern's last sitting with Marilyn Monroe as his inspiration. Spring will look as spring should, with an emphasis on pastels in pink and mint. Standouts included a vermillion graphic rose digital printed rayon muscle tee and a vermillion technical tweed pencil skirt with disintegrated rose motif, and white and pink poplin shirt with foldover detail and cutout back and pearlescent pink, black and white abstract...
