Last night at the Brooklyn Museum‘s Artists Ball, Amirah Kassem, the It girl/model/founder of Flour Shop, turned her over-the-top baking and confectionary skills into art. Shot Of The Daily: Jean Paul Gaultier's Final Touches
Fresh off of a run at the Brooklyn Museum, the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition is now across the pond at the Barbican Museum, opening today and running through August 25th. JPG put the final touches on the show before opening doors to the public in London. The exhibition includes more than 140 pieces created by the iconic designer, including the bra and corsets worn by Madonna in concert, costumes worn by Kylie Minogue, and talking mannequins.

We knew Jean Paul Gaultier's exhibition was going to be good, but we had no idea it was going to be that good. How silly of us to forget that it's Gaultier we're talking about. Last night at the Brooklyn Museum the French designer opened the only East Coast exhibition of his greatest hits from the last four decades with The Fashion World Of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk.

Jean Paul Gaultier is likely putting the final touches on his Spring collection show in Paris this Saturday evening, but we're busy getting anxious/eager/excited about the designer coming to New York at the end of next month. From October 25th through February 23, 2014, "The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Catwalk to the Sidewalk" is coming to the Brooklyn Museum.
