Simon Spurr Lands A New Gig

by The Daily Front Row

He’s baaaaaaack. It was announced today that beloved menswear designer Simon Spurr has joined Kent & Curwen as the SVP of design and creative director. The British heritage brand recently made their debut in North America at select retailers, and plan to open flagship locations later this year on London’s Saville Row and Manhattan’s Madison Avenue. Spurr launched his own namesake label in 2006, but left the label in 2012 over creative differences. Spurr has been a CFDA Menswear Designer of The Year nominee and winner of Fashion Group Internationals’ Rising Star Award. We’re not as familiar as we should be with Kent & Curwen, but they’ve made a very, very good choice.
