What are West Coasters to do while awards season takes its hiatus? Many found a reason to get dolled up over the weekend, were talking to you Joy Venturini Bianchi, at Saturday’s Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles’ annual gala. The evening honored artist Ed Rushka and merged the art and film worlds with James Marsden, Luke Wilson, Balthazar Getty, Owen Wilson, Nicky Rothschild (formerly known as Nicky Hilton), Ari Emanuel, Darren Star, former MOCA chair Maria Arena Bell, Michael and Eva Chow, Brian Grazer, Elizabeth Olsen, Patricia Arquette, Eiza Gonzalez, Lisa Edelstein, and Lisa Love spotted for a dinner curated by Wolfgang Puck and a performance by Robin Thicke. The evening raised an astounding $3 million with an additional $2 million coming in for the museum from a editioned plate by Jeff Koons. MOCA’s gala was produced by Ben Bourgeois.
