Riccardo Tisci Pairs Up With Nike

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) A bit of sportif chic in the mix? Just do it, thanks to Nike’s latest collab. The athletics behemoth is rolling out a line by Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci. The spate of sneakers (and, presumably, other pieces) in the NIKE RT line will debut this spring, and are bound to be exceedingly more stylish than the swoosh-festooned kicks currently residing in your closet.

Besides the streetwear inflections Tisci infuses into Givenchy’s more casual offerings, like T shirts and sweatshirts, the designer has dabbled in sportier goods. To wit: Tisci curated a pair-up between Nike and artist Marc Turlan back in 2010, according to WWD. Two years ago, Tisci whipped up a design for Converse as part of a capsule collection. As for his latest activewear-skewed project, the goods will be available in stores and at Nike.com.
