Rebecca Minkoff Does Denim

by The Daily Front Row

With the launch of Rebecca Minkoff Denim, the reigning queen of handbags has introduced the latest cult-worthy item to the masses. The designer was on hand last night at her just opened New York flagship store on Greene Street in SoHo to celebrate. Attendees, including The Man Repeller’s Leandra Medine and Coco Rocha, were encouraged to graffiti the walls, in what might be the first combination denim pop-up shop and “Demolition” party. Guests checked out the five denim styles, all named after NYC streets, while enjoying the jams of DJ Kiss.

Minkoff’s denim line will also help combat childhood hunger in America. Through a partnership with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Program, each pair of Rebecca Minkoff jeans sold will result in a child receiving up to 20 meals, including school breakfasts and summertime lunches. Well done, Becky!
