by Dena Silver

Ralph Lauren has a new exec on board across the pond: Geoffroy van Raemdonck has been named group president for Europe at the company. His predecessor, John Hooks, has been with the brand for three years. In his new gig, van Raemdonck will be based in Geneva, where Ralph Lauren’s European HQ are located. He will be reporting to Jacki Nemerov, the brand’s president and COO. No word yet on what Hook’s next move will be.

Van Raemdonck was most recently CEO at St. John Knits; he’s been with the brand since July 2013. Previously, he garnered international experience as president of South Europe at Louis Vuitton, where he generated sales of over $1 billion in 22 countries. Van Raemdonck’s career has included stints at Louis Vuitton North America, Limited Brands, and Boston Consulting Group.
