Musician Lorde continues to intrigue after coming out of nowhere and kicking butt on the charts. Last night the gorgeous and opinionated 16-year-old (!!) wore Chanel to the MoMA Film Benefit to rub elbows with Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour, and Tilda Swinton. As one does in their teens. Looks like someone managed to goth up Chanel for the night, which we suspect will please a certain Kaiser we know. Incidentally, the big guy is sticking in town tonight for an event honoring him hosted by Hearst and Harper’s Bazaar, including a sit down for a conversation with Jessica Chastain to discuss his nearly six-decade career. We’ll have all the details on the gems likely to come out of his mouth tomorrow!
