Nylon EIC Michelle Lee Steps Down

by The Daily Front Row

Nylon announced today that editor in chief and chief marketing officer Michelle Lee is stepping down. Lee assumed the role in June 2014. Deputy editor Melissa Giannini will replace Lee as editor in chief, effective immediately, but will not take on duties as CMO. Giannini has been with Nylon for just over three years. The release also included reports on Nylon’s numbers, including the site’s record-high traffic this month (4.2 million unique visitors, up from 500,000 last year).

“We’re thrilled to have an experienced editor like Melissa move into this role so we can ensure a seamless transition,” said Paul Greenberg, CEO. “She is the perfect person for the position, as she fully understands the Nylon brand with her tailored editorial background and time with the company specifically. At the same time, we thank Michelle for her superb work at Nylon and wish her the best.”
