NYFW Spring 2014: Ralph Lauren

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) Ralph Lauren
Calling all Twiggys in training! At Ralph Lauren it was all about Sixties mod. The first half of the show was full of B&W school girl chic numbers, like a pinstripe dress with French cuffs and a signature short wide tie in floral print worn with black knee high stockings and patent mary janes and naturally, a Ralph three piece suit with exaggerated peak lapels in graphic check. The second half of the show was all about big bold monochrome color like Sixties skirt suits in orange and green that were so bright they bordered on neon. A simple and sleek cobalt blue silk gazaar gown sashayed down the runway on Karlie Kloss and a stunning off-the-shoulder cherry red cady evening dress with a cape closed the show. Classic Ralph.
