Nicole Miller's Prettiest Perches On The East End

by The Daily Front Row

Wondering where to chow down out East this weekend? Nicole Miller to the rescue! The designer shares her favorite spots for wining and dining in style. Plus! This Sunday at 11 a.m., Miller is in the hot seat! “Fashion Insiders With Fern Mallis” hits up East Hampton’s Guild Hall, and Mallis will be getting the full rundown on Miller’s career and more. Get your tickets here! (P.S. Simon Doonan is up next, on August 4!)

Sunset Beach: I was just vacationing in the South of France, and this is the only place out East that has the feeling of Saint-Tropez. They even have French waiters! I always order the mussels, calamari salad, and André Balazs Rosé.

The Living Room at c/o The Maidstone: I love having dinner outside in the garden at the Maidstone in East Hampton. There’s funky décor, and the vibe is absolutely peaceful. The Swedish meatballs are beyond!

South Edison: The food is delicious, but I really enjoy the quirky interior. Airy and not crammed, it’s perfect for Instagramming. A very Brooklyn-inspired take on Montauk! The menu is seafood-focused, but with enough variety to satisfy your vegetarian friends.

The Coast Grill: Located at the Peconic Marina with a great bay view, I come here often for spaghettini with rock shrimp and Lobster Fra Diavolo.

DurYea’s Lobster Deck: A true local spot, there isn’t any table service, but the views of the rocks from their deck makes the trek well worth it. It reminds me of vacations in Maine. Bring your own wine and devour fresh lobster!

American Hotel: Perfect for a gourmet meal on a rainy day, it boasts a gorgeous, more traditional design, an extensive wine list, and impressive backgammon boards in the parlor. It’s an ideal place to while away a lazy afternoon.

Wölffer Estate: Wine tasting is one of my favorite ways to spend a day when I’m not on the water. Their chardonnay is among my favorites. Each season, I pick up two cases of the rosé for impromptu get-togethers and barbeques.
