The Stars Come Out for Moschino’s L.A. Runway Show

by Sydney Sadick

The talk of the weekend was Moschino’s joint women’s resort and spring/summer men’s 2017 runway show, which took place in L.A.—designer Jeremy Scott’s home city—for the very first time. The show, which was part of MADE Los Angeles, was styled by Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele and featured an impressive range of models: Presley Gerber, who made his runway debut, in addition to Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr, and Victoria’s Secret Angels Martha Hunt, Jasmine Tookes, Romee Strijd, Taylor Hill, and Sara Sampaio—talk about a reunion! Our Daily Summer cover girl Stella Maxwell was also on catwalk duty, as well as Jourdan Dunn, Devon Aoki, Chanel Iman, and Jasmine Sanders. Major, non?

The two seasons of Moschino were staged in what the brand likes to call an “exotic garden wonderland,” which featured vibrant narratives that were anything but boring. On the clothing front, you can spot hand-applied Shisha-inspired mirror adornment, holographic floral appliques, hyper-color crochet work, fringed knits, animal prints, ’60s florals, and punchy tie-dye pieces that are pure eye candy. Plus, the collections incorporated some black lace, crochet, and embellished leathers.

Other stars who came out to Jeremy’s backyard: Katy Perry, Caitlyn Jenner, Candis Cayne, Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford, Vanessa Hudgens, Soko, Fergie, Deshauna Barber, Bella Thorne, Anna Cleveland, Erin Wasson, Sky Ferreira, Colton Haynes, Kelly Osbourne, Amber Rose and Anwar Hadid—a.k.a the cool kids.
