Michael Kors Celebrates Regent Street Flagship

by Kristen Heinzinger

Yesterday, Michael Kors headed across the pond to celebrate its newest flagship store on Regent Street in London. And there was more to celebrate! The new, three-floor location is the largest European brick and mortar, and features a new design concept, including wax gray stained oak floors and tables, brushed stainless steel shelves, Venetian wallpaper, Macassar wood details, Calacatta marble fixtures, a floating staircase, and a weathered limestone “runway” that leads from the entrance through the entire store.

“London is one of the world’s great fashion cities and an endless source of inspiration for me personally,” said Michael Kors. “I’m thrilled to be opening a beautiful new flagship on Regent Street that represents everything we do and offers our customers the full world of Michael Kors.”

In light of the occasion, the brand partnered with award-winning artist Clym Evernden to create one-of-a-kind illustrations, which will be displayed in the windows of the Regent Street store all summer and across Michael Kors’ social media channels this week. There to toast the fete with Kors were John Idol, Ron Dennis, Lance LePere, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Chastain, Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button, Stoffel Vandoorne, and many more.
