Not even 24 hours after the news hit of Penske Media’s acquisition of the bulk of Fairchild Fashion Media’s publications, there’s a staffing update on the media sites that remain aligned with Condé Nast. Effective immediately, Matt Rice will serve as publisher at both Style.com and NowManifest, the latter of which is a portal for high-traffic bloggers like BryanBoy and Anna Dello Russo.

Rice has served as associate publisher for both since 2012, having also held gigs as advertising director and executive director of international fashion for Style.com and WWD. He joined Condé Nast in 2007 as Midwest manager at Teen Vogue, followed by ad positions at Glamour and then Details. By the numbers, ad revenues chez Style.com have seen a 9 percent increase from last year; web traffic has seen an uptick of 10 percent. “As we approach our 15th anniversary with incredible momentum, this is an opportunity to advance an important brand that continues to be a pioneer in the digital space. Reaching a premium audience like ours is more important to our marketing partners than ever before and the opportunities ahead of us are truly exciting,” Rice said in a statement.
