Many tune in to see her every morning at 10 a.m. as a host on Vh1’s Gossip Table, or read her scoops online at Hollywood Life, where she serves as a senior editor, but Chloe Melas is adding another title to her wheelhouse as a brand ambassador to Maggy London. The label called upon Melas to sport Maggy London confections across the board from show tapings and meetings to parties and dinners. “I’m always needing a different outfit every single day,” Melas, told us. “I don’t have anyone helping me with styling, so Maggy London gave me a dress to wear last season, and they got great feedback on Instagram and thought I looked great in the dress. The brand skews a little older, so they were like ‘Who is this young girl wearing our dress? We want to meet her!’ Even though I’m not a celebrity, they wanted me to become their International Brand Ambassador. I’ll be wearing Maggy London on Gossip Table every single morning, featuring them on Hollywood Life, and of course wearing them in everyday life! They want me to bring awareness to this great brand that it’s not just for your mom anymore!”
As for Melas’ favorites? “I love the fit and flair dress. It’s tight around the waist and flares up, so it’s exactly like it sounds. It’s so flattering, and looks great on TV. I also love the Illusion Dress. This is like their pride and joy. Every time I wear it, people go absolutely crazy! It’s this really classy, form-fitting dress, but has this illusion neckline and cap-sleeve. It just makes your décolletage look very feminine, and it really accentuates the curves, and I have some curves.
