Lela Rose's Epic Dinner Party

by The Daily Front Row

Still somehow not convinced that food and fashion dovetail oh so delightfully? Look no further than Lela Rose‘s posh supper bash on Friday eve at her Tribeca loft, held in honor of illustrious el Bulli chef Ferran Adrià and the opening of an exhibit celebrating his brilliant cooking, “Ferran Adrià: Notes on Creativity” at Soho exhibit space The Drawing Center. The culinary star wattage factor was major, considering the five course din entailed a course apiece from Mario Batali, Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, Dan Barber, and Dominique Ansel. (Just looking at that hitlist of names could make one hungry…) “I met Ferran Adria when I ate at El Bulli in June of 2011; the restaurant closed for good one month later,” Rose told The Daily. “I’ve never had a more astoundingly creative meal in my life and don’t expect that I’ll ever have a meal anywhere like it again.” Proceeds from the delectable feast for 60 lucky diners benefitted The Drawing Center. Delicious! Check out the Gallery for more pics of Rose and her cadre of chefs…
