She finally did it: Kendall Jenner landed her first Vogue cover—and the September issue at that! The #GenerationK mod made her debut for the American glossy two years back in a photo spread (there’s a throw back Thursday for you) and fronted a special edition, subscriber-only April issue back in March. But this issue makes her an official Vogue cover girl. Jenner has also fronted international versions of the fashion book, like Vogue Paris and Vogue Japan. As far as this issue goes, here’s the A-team who worked on creating the dreamy cover and spread: Mert Alas and Marcus Pigott photographed Jenner, who stuns on the cover in a Gucci number and Tonne Goodman was on styling duty. She dressed the mod in a number of other designers for the inside spread including Proenza Schouler, Maison Margiela, Louis Vuitton and Vetements.

The interview, written by Jonathan Van Meter, focuses on how Kendall become the breakout model of her generation. Not only does she have the requisite social media following (61.3 million followers on Instagram alone), but she’s also fronted campaigns for some of the hautest brands and walked the runway in fashion shows all over the world.
