Joe Fresh's First Anniversary: All Aboard (The Escalators)!

(NEW YORK) How to celebrate a year in the U.S. for Canada-cultivated retailer Joe Fresh? A “one of a kind” (their words, and ours, too) bash at their midtown outpost, making fine use of the store’s escalators for (what else?) runway strutting, featuring getups styled by Marie Claire‘s Zanna Roberts Rassi.  The fashion show started a little after 9 p.m., also included the likes of Steven Rojas, Ari Seth Cohen, Claire Geist, and Peter Davis in the peppily-attired mix, plus a few duo acts, like Claire Geist and Mickey Boardman. Also riding the escalator together: Dani Stahl and Michael Musto, a stroll which was followed by a crack on Musto’s behalf about heading down the aisle as the next stop. (Ha!) On the MC grind for the night: An ebullient Billy Beyond. DJ duties went to Brendan Fallis and Hannah Bronfman. On the beverage front, a set of wall dispensers doled out melon ginger float, grapefruit jalepeño punch, and smoked pineapple margarita.
