Jeffrey Fashion Cares: 2016

Boys, boys, boys… Last night marked the 13th year of the the Jeffrey Fashion Cares fundraiser, which returned to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. The event raises big bucks for charities ACRIA, the Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI), and Lambda Legal, and was founded by Jeffrey Kalinsky of Jeffrey fame who first launched it in Atlanta in 1992. (That’s a lot of Care!) This year, Girls‘ star Andrew Rannells took on hosting duties for a crowd that included models Brian Shimansky, Sean O’Pry, Catherine McNeil, Jordan Barrett, and RJ King who sat front row alongside designers Brandon Maxwell, Prabal Gurung, Jonathan Simkhai, Alexis Bittar, and Thom Browne. Also spotted were Susanne Bartsch, Andrea Pejic, Danielle BernsteinLuann de Lesseps, David Ralph, Taylor Hendrich, Michael Krans, Matt Rice, and Fern Mallis. Joel Grey handed activist Peter Staley the 2016 Jeffrey Cares Leadership Award before a runway show/skin parade, which saw Eian Scully (above), River Viiperi, Benjamin Benedek, Clark Bockelman, and Jeffrey Cares posterboy Chad White. Funds from last night (still adding up as we speak) are counted toward the more than $11 million already raised over the years.
