J.Crew Opens First European Flagship In London

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) J.Crew has finally crossed the pond in a major way: Yesterday, the American retailer opened its first European flagship in London at 165 Regent Street. The massive 17,000-square-foot space includes both men’s and women’s apparel, and is in a retail stretch with neighbors like Burberry, Anthropologie, Tommy Hilfiger, and Hugo Boss, to name a few.

While this store is the first British flagship, last month J.Crew opened the first of three retail spaces in the U.K. The trio of other locations reside at 38 Lamb’s Conduit Street, in a 13,000-square-foot space, and at 175 Draycott Avenue in South Kensington, comprise of a 3,500-square-foot space of solely women’s J.Crew Collection wares. But if you’re shopping J.Crew in London, expect to shell out a bit more cash. Price tags have been raised roughly 20 percent to account for doing business in Britain. The brand now delivers to more than 100 countries around the globe.
