Issa London Pairs Up With Banana Republic

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) Banana Republic is going back to its style roots by tapping into their original safari aesthetic in a new limited-edition Pre-Fall collab with Issa London. The collection will be the first time Issa London, a Kate Middleton fave known for their easy day-to-night looks and wrap dresses, has collaborated with another brand.

What types of styles are slated for the stores? The 40-piece collection will include apparel and accessories with everything from a zebra print kimono dress to pebbled leather envelope clutches. Jewel tones (like the Duchess of Cambridge’s iconic sapphire wrap dress) and leopard prints will be permeating themes for this collection. Speaking of jewels: you can expect gold chain statement necklaces and leather wrap bangles on the bauble front.

The collection will range from $39.50 for a bangle to $150 for a dress; mark your calendars for August 6, when the spate of looks launches online. “We were immediately inspired by Banana Republic’s heritage of safari adventures when we dreamt up this collection together,” said Banana Republic’s creative director and executive vice president of design, Simon Kneen, in a statement. We love the notion of Banana Republic touching on its rustic safari roots, don’t you?
