Into The Gloss Introduces Its Own Beauty Brand, Glossier

by Dena Silver

Prepare your medicine cabinet: Beauty blog Into The Gloss is bringing their expertise beyond the computer screen, with the introduction of Glossier. Billed as “the first digital beauty brand”, the ITG team has developed a neatly curated set of skincare products that makes use of the many tips, tricks, and pointers that the site was built on. The first batch of products, entitled Gossier Phase 1 Set, is simple and to the point, focusing on skincare, including Soothing Face Mist, Priming Moisturizer, Perfecting Skin Tint, and Balm Dotcom. Items are priced between $12 and $26, and available only on the brand’s website. Phase 2 is set to drop around the holiday season; expect fun, colorful makeup options from part deux of the line’s debut.

Founded by Emily Weiss four years ago, Into The Gloss has acquired not only a cult-like following while shifting the way beauty is discussed and covered by other media outlets. This skincare launch will certainly further that influential push. “Over the past four years running Into The Gloss, I saw the need for a beauty brand that speaks to its consumers directly, offering them a chance to engage beyond the traditional touch points of purchase, use and mass marketing,” Weiss said in a statement. Additionally, Glossier has an editorial component, titled g.IRL, which will offer some background on the brand’s inspirations and processes. For Manhattan customers who absolutely can’t wait to try Glossier out, the site is offering free same-day delivery today via Uber Rush when you purchase the Phase 1 Set. Plus, there’s a chance that Weiss herself will even deliver the goods to you. How’s that for a Monday treat?
