by Alexandra Ilyashov

The Harper’s Bazaar masthead has a promotion and an addition, The Daily can exclusively report. Mallory Schlau has been bumped up from fashion market editor to senior fashion market editor at the glossy. Schlau joined Bazaar in January 2013, following a year and a half as a fashion associate at T. The Parsons grad got her start as stylist Leslie Fremar‘s assistant. Additionally, Samantha Antczak has been named accessories assistant at Bazaar, following a stint as Vogue‘s jewelry market assistant. Antczak was an intern in Bazaar‘s beauty department in 2012; she’s also interned at Teen Vogue, and prior to joining Vogue as a freelance fashion closet assistant in September 2013, she was a visual merchandiser  at Club Monaco for two years.

“Mallory has been an invaluable member of the Harper’s Bazaar team, and I’m thrilled to announce her promotion,” Nicole Fritton, the mag’s fashion market and accessories director, told The Daily. “In addition, as our team continues to grow, we are excited to welcome Samantha to Bazaar.” Antczak will start her new gig on Monday.

My name is Maja Arnold and I’m a new inspiring contemporary distinctive monogram jewelry designer. The idea for monogram jewelry came to me when I lost one of my twins. I have a typography degree and I blend capital letters as many as six in an original design. There is a personal message behind each symbol that is original and one of a kind.
