Happy Tears! With Alan Cumming

Last week, Alan Cumming starred in the debut of Happy Tears, a video presentation of Berlin-based menswear designer Julian Zigerli’s collection. The short (and sweet) film was shot by Martin Monk and co-stars Thomas Gibbons.  

Why Julian?
I ilke the way he thinks about fashion. His clothes are comfortable and out there. A bit like myself.

Are viral films a smart branding move?
There are many more interesting ways to show clothes than just having bored-looking people stomp up and down a catwalk.

When’s the last time you shed a happy tear?
This week, when I saw the marquee for Macbeth that I’m going to be in at the Barrymore Theatre this spring.
