Gwyneth Paltrow is learning the hard realities of retail with her Time Warner Center pop-up shop, Goop Mrkt, which was robbed of more than $173,000 worth of merchandise over the weekend. People reports three men came into the store on Saturday and forcibly opened a cabinet full of merchandise and ran away with the unknown goods. “There was an isolated incident Saturday afternoon involving a very limited number of items, which was reported to the NYPD,” a Goop spokesperson said in a statement. “While the store was crowded during one of our busiest days, thankfully the NYPD responded quickly, our customers and staff are safe, and we remain open for business with proper security precautions in place.” (We’re having a collective office chuckle over the “limited number of items” that were stolen for $173,000!!!) No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.

Goop opened last month and sells items such as Stella McCartney’s organic makeup line, Juice Beauty, Carbon38, Nili Lotan, Carven, and an exclusive 24-item capsule collaboration with Valentino that’s called “Wonder Woman Valentino.” Doors will be open until December 24.
