Chicettes, are your palettes prepared for the summer? Your Daily got a proper preview of the warm months ahead when we took a weekday reprieve to the Wolffer Vineyard in Sagaponack earlier this week. Why did we trek all the way out East before Memorial Day? To fête the most recent version of the Gatorade of the Hamptons: Wolffer’s Summer In A Bottle. This latest rosé is inspired by the 2013 vintage, but with its adorable bottle and fruity taste, it’s likely to be the hautest accessory all summer long. Throughout rounds of tastings with winemaker and Wolffer partner Roman Roth, a gorgeous tour of the vineyard with Joey and Marc Wolffer, its mystifying cellar, and accompanying wine stand and wine bar, we also noshed on food prepped by the late Christian Wolffer’s personal chef (paired with four courses of wine, bien sûr) and toured his immaculate stables. So, who’s thirsty for summer now?
