Fendi Debuts An Eyewear Collab With Thierry Lasry

by Zachary Weiss

A chic crowd turned out for a late-night blowout at Fendi’s recently opened Madison Avenue flagship. The cause for celebration? A new collection of eyewear designed by the world’s premiere eyewear aficionado, Thierry Lasry. The man of the hour was joined by Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman of the futuristic R&B group Lionbabe. Hervey even took the time to slip out of one Fendi getup and into another; the second look was a black leotard topped with a priceless, multicolored fur. She then performed a set of hits for the crowd (including Pharrell-produced tune “Superwoman”) who all sported the new sets of Lasry-designed shades. Put simply, this was not just another store party. The fête raged well past its expected midnight close, as late-arriving black tie-dressed party goers arrived from The Frick Collection’s Young Collectors Ball uptown, looking to continue dancing to the tunes provided by Leigh Lezark and Geordon Nicol from The Misshapes.
