Lucky‘s beloved editor-in-chief, Eva Chen, is leaving the publication. Lucky Group president Gillian Gorman Round is also rumored to be leaving the company, according to WWD , and the print magazine may be axed.

Chen took to Twitter with an eight-part tweet to address the news of her departure:

She also posted on Instagram: This morning I made the extremely personal and difficult announcement to my team that I will be transitioning from @luckymagazine in the coming months. The brand will continue on and I’ll be leading it into its new chapter. Today/tomorrow/beyond, I’m a #luckygirlforlife. Thank you all for your support on this wonderful adventure I’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of.”

Lucky‘s had quite a tumultuous year or two. First they were spun off from Conde and acquired by e-comm firm Beachmint Group, as a way to turn the glossy into an online shopping destination. That shopping site, LuckyShops.com, debuted in early February. A few weeks later the company faced a series of layoffs and a few masthead changes.  Stay tuned for more details on Chen’s next move (and successor) as well as the fate of Lucky in print.
