Etro Fall 2015

by The Daily Front Row

Prints galore! A mashup of textures and patterns ruled the Etro runway for Fall, with lots of tapestry-esque motifs, silk paisleys, and herringbone riffs patched together on toppers, calf-length skirts, suits, and more, in a neutral palette of greys, browns, and a bit of gold. A few standout coats featured an undulating hemline motif that resembled various sand types stacked in a bottle. Check out the full collection, right this way…

This is the most elegant and striking (and actually wearable) fashion collection I have seen in decades. Most of the stuff of fashion week is outré, inappropriate for anything but fashion week (or worn by celebrities at some “my dress is more outrageous than your dress” “partey”. Nice design and in “autumn” colors, as well–something that hasn’t been around for a while.
