Estée Lauder Gets The Opening Ceremony Treatment

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) With a little help from Opening Ceremony founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, the beauty advisors wielding makeup brushes on behalf of Estée Lauder are getting a chic makeover. Incorporating the beauty brand’s history and heritage, each of these 15,000 male and female beauty gurus will be bestowed a 14-piece wardrobe in hues of navy, off-white, and jacquard. Expect a smattering of tailored peplum pieces mixed in with full skirts, tailored pants and elegant dresses, a far cry from the generic shades of basic black that can be found at your average beauty counter.

This past Saturday, the sleek uniforms had an official unveiling at Estée Lauder’s flagship counter at Macy’s Herald Square. The beauty label will also take part in Opening Ceremony’s very first NYFW show, with their creative makeup director Tom Pecheux on hand to beautify faces and nails, with the help of nail artist Naomi Yasuda. Gorgeous news, non?
