Calling all accessory addicts: the Resort/Holiday 2015 issue of the Editorialist.com launches today starring Ethiopian-born Liya Kebede on its cover. In an exclusive interview the veteran model, who founded the bohemian inspired fashion line Lemlem, featuring pieces hand spun by artisans in her native Africa, says she admires fellow models turned philanthropists. “I recently worked with Amber Valletta and she is so inspiring because she acts, has a clothing line, is eco-conscious and is a mother,” says Kebede who is regularly snapped by the likes of David Sims, Inez & Vinoodh and Patrick Demarchelier and was the first black woman to land a beauty contract with Estée Lauder. Launched in 2013, the editorialist.com – an e-commerce platform which showcases a red hot mix of luxury accessories from brands like Lanvin, Aquazzurra, Givenchy et al – releases a digital magazine four times a year and a biannual print book in the fall and spring.

“I first met Liya on set this September. She arrived to our shoot with legendary photographer Tiziano Magni, with an ebullience and collaborative energy that made her as much a part of the creative process as Tiziano and I”, says the sites co-founder Kate Davidson Hudson.
